So… tell me about this amazing opportunity?

We are recruiting for one of their luxurious Lifestyle Villages, Busselton's newest over 50s resort purpose built for a lifestyle where homeowners can create their dream home and still have the freedom to escape and enjoy their travels. Everything is taken care of while they are away!

"With the vibrant Busselton beach and Margaret River region all a short trip away, you’ll soon discover that the South West Coast is the place to be. The Vantage is conveniently located close to shopping centres, medical facilities, restaurants and more, including the new Vasse Village Shopping Precinct just a short stroll down the road."

One of the key success factors for this role is to be able to create and maintain a happy, welcoming, caring and safe community that has high homeowner involvement, satisfaction and attracts future homeowners.

So what does a typical day look like?

As the Village Manager, your days will involve;

Developing rapport and providing outstanding customer service to homeowners

Managing the day-to-day site operations of the community

Building and maintaining strong professional relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, and the community

Managing the community’s financial performance competently

General office administration and accounts

In conjunction with the Social Committee - assisting to organise events, catering, and programs for the community

Supporting the Sales Team and all other members of the operational team

Working independently whilst also being part of a broader team and demonstrating a flexible, adaptable attitude in all situations

Communicating with homeowners and work through challenges they present in a friendly, cooperative and understanding manner – whilst demonstrating empathy at all times

Sounds great… but what’s in it for me?

Really ? What - apart from the spectacular Swan Valley country side, weather and lifestyle??

Seriously though.. this village has retained the natural undulation of the site’s land and incorporated the towering treescape of the space into the community’s design. So its a very very nice working environment.

Serenitas provide terrific support to their village managers to make sure they have all the tools needed to keep their communities humming along.

A good salary PLUS a bonus for every new home sale will really add some serious $$$ to the package.

How will I know if I’m their people?

The best background for this role would be from candidates with experience managing other Villages or Independent Living Communities or Large Holiday Parks with Permanent Residents.

It would also be useful to have Facility Management and or Trade expertise or experience, and Real Estate Property management or Management Rights experience

If you have developed an understanding of land lease models or you've worked with Owners Corporations/Strata Companies or Body Corporates then you would also work beautifully in this role.
