Retravision Stadium is a state of the art sporting and function facility situated at the heart of Albany’s unique social landscape, providing a hub for a variety of sporting and social events.

The stadium features a 442-seat grandstand, 400 person capacity function space, full commercial-grade kitchen, 3 bars, outside broadcast facilities, multi-use meeting and function rooms with a formal seating capacity of 200.

We are seeking a hands-on function, events and venue manager to be responsible for the overall management of the Stadium facility. The duties of the role include:

Maintenance and implementation of the marketing plan to increase awareness of the facility and what we offer, including maintenance of function packages, our website and social media accounts.

Preparation of proposals and quotes for prospective function/event clients.

Managing all aspects of function & event delivery from customer enquiries to function sales and hands-on management of the function/event.

Liaising with the Royals and Sharks football clubs and incorporating respective game day/social event calendars into the overall stadium availability schedule.

Management of a small team of function service staff.

General administrative tasks required for the maintenance and management of the facility.

Monthly reporting to the management committee.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Substantial experience in delivering successful functions and events from inception through to execution.

Knowledge of marketing strategies across a range of channels and the ability to implement a marketing/promotion plan.

Excellent time management skills.

An ability to work independently.

A working knowledge of costings, quoting and understanding budget targets.

Well developed people skills with an ability to build relationships and professionally communicate with customers, stakeholders and staff.

An ability to work within the Microsoft Office suite of programs, particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

An ability to use online programs such as graphic design, website, payroll, pos systems.

A current Approved Manager’s certification, or the ability to obtain it.
