As a Safety and Wellbeing Officer, you’ll champion a safe, healthy, and supportive workplace where every team member can thrive. You’ll work proactively to identify and reduce risks, respond to incidents with care and professionalism, and support staff wellbeing through practical initiatives and guidance. By partnering with leaders, employees, and external specialists, you’ll foster a positive safety culture, strengthen resilience, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
This is a part time (30 hours per week), permanent opportunity based in East Perth.
What you will bring
To be successful you will have:
- Tertiary Qualification or Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety, and relevant experience.
- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and standards.
- Experience in injury management coordination and understanding of Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management.
- High level interpersonal skills with an ability to work with a diverse range of people.
- Experience in WHS incident investigations and workplace safety inspections.
- Experience in psychosocial risk management and implementing practices with a focus on workplace psychological safety.
- Ability to initiate and create opportunities, anticipate possible problems, work independently, work effectively under pressure and be innovative and flexible.
The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, current Provide First Aid Certificate and a WA Drivers Licence.

Remuneration and Benefits
- From $86,950 per annum (pro rata) plus 12% superannuation
- In addition to your remuneration, you will enjoy tax-free salary packaging benefits where you can package up to $15,900 + $2,600 for entertainment expenses per annum and not pay tax on that amount
- Additional 3 days (pro-rata) leave per year over Christmas period
- Hybrid working options
- Ability to purchase additional leave
