As our Business Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic and operational success of ODEEP and Pinnacle Preschool. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will ensure our services are delivered efficiently, sustainably, and in alignment with our purpose and vision.
ODEEP is a not-for-profit, community-based Early Childhood Intervention Service and registered NDIS provider, supporting children and young people with disabilities or developmental delays and their families across Orange and surrounding areas. With over 38 years of experience, we are an industry leader in early intervention, therapy, and education. Orange is one of the fastest growing regional areas in NSW, located 3.5 hrs west of Sydney. Orange has become known as one of Australia’s best wine and food districts, with stunning rural views, fantastic recreational activities and facilities that suit individuals, couples or families.
Through growth and diversification, our organisation has a need within our Senior Management Team for a Business Manager to support our CEO, who will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of both ODEEP and Pinnacle Preschool.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight: Lead day-to-day business operations in collaboration with senior management.
Strategic Growth: Identify opportunities for service expansion and competitive advantage.
Performance Management: Monitor KPIs and implement improvements.
Quality Assurance: Maintain and enhance continuous improvement systems.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to NDIS and ECEC standards.
Human Resources: Oversee recruitment, induction, and performance management.
Financial Management: Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial sustainability.
Community Engagement: Promote services and strengthen stakeholder relationships.
Team Leadership: Work with senior management to continue a culture of collaboration and professional partnerships.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, Human Resource, or related field.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Business Management or HR Management, ideally in the not-for-profit sector.
Strong financial literacy and budget management skills.
