Mount St Benedict College, is a girls high school established by the Sisters of Good Samaritan and is part of a community of ten schools across Australia administered by Good Samaritan Education. The College is seeking applicants for a Deputy Business Manager (Finance Manager) to commence as soon as possible on a permanent full time basis. The Deputy Business Manager assists the Business Manager with the day-to-day business and financial functions of the College.The role will assist in the overall financial operations, reporting financial conditions and identifying financial requirements, ensuring that appropriate accounting controls are maintained.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons for the position of Deputy Business Manager. The successful applicant will be a collaborative team player with high levels of organisational and staff management skills who will report to the Business Manager.

Essential

Relevant Tertiary qualifications (CA/CPA)

Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Experience in industry or education in finance roles

Proven attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Exceptional staff management and interpersonal skills

Desirable

Knowledge and experience in educational or not-for-profit entities

Previous experience working as a Finance Manager/Deputy Business Manager in an Independent or Catholic School
