Building a Better Bunbury Together
We're looking for a number of versatile Construction and Maintenance Workers with proven experience in operating plant and machinery, along with hands-on skills in civil construction. This is more than a plant operator role - it's an opportunity to blend your operational expertise with on-the-ground capabilities, contributing directly to Bunbury's road, drainage and concrete infrastructure.
Your safety and professional growth are priorities at the City, with daily planning, toolbox discussions and skill development in road and drainage maintenance.

Detailed Responsibilities include:
Plant Operations & Maintenance
Operate and maintain machinery, including excavators, graders, front-end loaders and rollers.
Hands-On Civil Works
Help build roads, drains and concrete paths by using your skills on the job site.
Make sure the levels and plans for drainage, digging and concrete work are followed closely.
Set up and finish concrete paths, lay pipes for drainage and build storm drains.
What You Bring To The Role
Essential Skills and Experience
Proven experience in road construction and maintenance, including operating plant machinery like excavators and skid steers.
Ability to read plans, work to levels and deliver quality civil works.
HR Driver's Licence (or commitment to obtain within three months) and a White Card.
A proactive approach to safety and teamwork.
Desirable Skills
Advanced concreting abilities and experience working from technical drawings.
Basic Traffic Management or Traffic Control qualifications.
