Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Building Construction Supervisor to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent role ideally suited to someone with strong analytical and project costing skills, looking to contribute to a growing construction business.

As a Building Construction Supervisor, you will be responsible quoting, tendering, ordering materials and supervision of numerous installation teams.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

· Interpret plans, specifications, and scope documents.

· Site inspections and measuring.

· Preparation of quotes tenders and estimates

· Variation submissions and job claiming

· Coordinate and communicate with suppliers to obtain pricing and place orders.

· Review project plans and identify risks or discrepancies that may impact cost or delivery.

· Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing cost monitoring during project delivery.

· Maintain detailed records of estimates, variations, and tender outcomes.

· Schedule jobs

· On site supervision

· Preparing sketches and drawings

· General response to queries and emails.

· And helping the teams on site from time to time.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a construction supervisor or similar role.

· Qualification in Construction Management, Building, Quantity Surveying or a related field preferred.

· Strong numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.

· Sound knowledge of building materials, construction methods and efficient problem solving.

· Proficient in estimating and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines simultaneously.

· Excellent communication and management skills.

· Driver’s Licence

· Police Clearance

· Able to work independently and as part of a team environment
