About the role

This casual role offers flexible hours, the potential to move into permanent part-time, and the chance to create a real, lasting impact in the lives of our participants.

What You’ll Be Doing

Providing personalised, person-centred support to participants with a variety of disabilities – empowering them to live independently and confidently.

Assisting with daily living activities – from personal care and meal preparation to light household tasks.

Facilitating social and recreational activities that promote inclusion, independence, and joy.

Working alongside participants’ families and support networks for a holistic, team-based approach.

Supporting participants in line with their Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSP), encouraging positive outcomes and reducing behaviours of concern.

Keeping accurate and professional records to ensure the highest quality of care.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2 years’ experience in disability support or a similar role.

A heart for people – you bring compassion, patience, and the ability to connect with participants and their families.

Strong communication skills and a genuine ability to listen.

Organisational skills that help you juggle multiple tasks without missing a beat.

A positive, flexible attitude and the ability to adapt to different situations.

Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.

Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willing to obtain).
