Bajara Plant Hire, one of Australia’s largest heavy plant hire and civil contracting companies, is on the lookout for an experienced and highly organised Personal Assistant to provide full-time, in-office support to our Managing Director and wider administration team. This is a pivotal role in our head office, ensuring seamless coordination of projects, people, and priorities.

Your Role Will Include:
Administrative Support & Coordination – diary management, handling correspondence, timesheet recording, preparing employee, plant, and vehicle documentation.
HR & People Support – onboarding new staff, preparing HR documentation, and managing employment contracts.
Travel & Rostering – coordinating travel for FIFO operators and the Managing Director.
Reporting – assisting with end-of-month processes and other ad hoc reporting.
Billing & Invoicing – supporting accounts functions as required.
General Office Support – assisting with website updates, IT needs, capability statements, and light marketing activities.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience – minimum 3–5 years in a similar PA or senior administration role.
Tech savvy – proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams) and ideally experienced with HR/payroll systems (MYOB, Xero).
Organisational excellence – able to anticipate needs, work proactively, and see tasks through to completion.
People skills – strong communication, professionalism, and the ability to build positive working relationships.
Industry knowledge – previous exposure to mining, civil construction, or related sectors is highly regarded.
Qualifications – Certificate IV in Business Administration or equivalent is desirable.
Work rights – unrestricted rights to work in Australia, plus willingness to undergo pre-employment checks.
