The Role

Your role as Financial Controller will enjoy breadth and variety, taking ownership of the financial reporting. Your duties will include (not limited to):

Financial reporting – divisional reporting, revenue and job analysis, cash flow reporting and management

Preparing the half-year and full-year statutory accounts in accordance with AASB and ASX requirements

Tax and Regulatory Compliance

Ensuring robust controls and compliance are in place

Managing the interim and year-end audit

Working with multiple stakeholders, fast becoming a key finance business partner for departments

Supervision and mentorship of your team of direct reports

Your Background

To be considered for this Financial Controller position, you should have the following skills and attributes:

Professionally qualified as an accountant (e.g. CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)

Excellent financial control experience

Previous experience working in an ASX-listed company and/or a Big 4 accounting firm will be highly advantageous

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Confident and collaborative working style, eager to partner with internal stakeholders

Strong interpersonal abilities and collaborative demeanour, and the ability to lead your team
