About Akuru
Akuru is one of Australia’s fastest-growing health-tech start-ups. Our flagship product, i-Scribe, is already the leading AI clinical-documentation assistant used by clinicians nationwide. Fresh from a successful capital raise, we’re scaling fast—and we do it all with an AI-first mindset.
Why This Role Matters
We generate mountains of rich data—from usage statistics to operational metrics—but great insights only appear when the right internal tools exist. You’ll own those tools.
As our Lead Internal Tools & Analytics Developer, you will build the dashboards, admin features and data pipelines that let every team (sales, support, product) see what matters and act quickly. Your work will remove friction, improve decision-making and unlock new commercial opportunities.
What You’ll Do
Design & build internal dashboards and admin modules in our Next.js–based Admin portal, and custom slack bots
Integrate diverse data sources (HubSpot, MongoDB databases, billing systems) via REST/GraphQL and event streams.
Automate workflows with AI agents using internal MCP servers
Collaborate closely with Product, Data Science and DevOps to ship features end-to-end on Azure and AWS.
Champion security (ISO 27001 & APP) and performance best practices.
Embrace our use of AI coding assistants (Claude Code) and share techniques with the wider engineering team.
About You — Essential
