About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate Graphic Designer to join our Creative Services team based in Hornsby in a permanent full-time capacity. Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer & Digital Manager, you will be responsible for creating on brand solutions across all divisions for both print and digital channels.
On the print side, you’ll be part of a small team responsible for designing product brochures, monthly mailers, flyers, promotional materials, and packaging for our wide range of imported and distributed products.
On the digital side, you’ll manage and update website content, design weekly EDMs, photograph and edit product imagery, and create engaging social media graphics.
In this role, you’ll contribute to a diverse range of creative assets — delivering cohesive, on-brand design solutions that ensure a consistent visual identity across every customer touchpoint.
With a variety of design projects, this role will suit a Graphic Design expert who can run a job from start to finish and is able to manage deadlines, whilst also contributing to a creative, collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage design projects from brief to completion, ensuring consistency across campaigns and platforms
· Design, layout and production of print materials including:Monthly mailers, product flyers, banners, packaging and other ad-hoc projects as they arise
· Be part of a small team working on an annual Sports Catalogue
· Assisting in designing packaging across our range of imported products
· Assist with basic video editing
· Update and optimising website content, assets, product pages, and e-commerce platforms regularly
· Capturing product photography in our in-house photo studio – basic photography skills required with a willingness to learn and grow
· Image retouching and preparation for both print and digital use
· Cataloguing of finalised artwork and managing creative assets in an organised and accessible way
About You
You’re a detail-driven designer with strong layout and branding instincts. You’re equally comfortable working independently and collaborating as part of a team, and you're keen to grow and adapt in a fast-paced, creative environment.
What We are Looking for:
To succeed in this role you will showcase the following qualifications and experience:
· Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design or equivalent
· Minimum 3 years’ experience in a design role across both print and digital media
· Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat)Experience preparing artwork for print and liaising with printers
· Some packaging experience
· A creative mindset with a strong sense of layout, typography, and brand application
· Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
· A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to take feedback constructively
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· A willingness to learn new tools or techniques as needed
· Highly motivated and able to get things done with minimal supervision
