About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial processes and reporting. Working closely with both finance and operational teams, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with month-end processes, reconciliations, and reporting
• Supporting the preparation of BAS, FBT, and other tax compliance requirements
• Contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes
• Assisting with preparation of monthly management reports and consolidated reports for leadership
• Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining supporting documentation
• Monitoring and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
• Reconciling corporate credit card expenses and ensuring timely submission across the business
• Collaborating with the AP, AR and Payroll team and offering broader finance support when required
• Assisting with compliance reporting (e.g. BAS returns, ABS surveys)
• Supporting the year-end audit process by liaising with external auditors and preparing documentation

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• A degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Business
• Progress toward or plans to commence your CA or CPA qualification
• At least 1 year of professional experience in a finance or accounting role
• A solid understanding of accounting standards and financial processes
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive mindset
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across the business
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and genuine interest in the industry
