About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and self-motivated Accounts Payable Officer to join our finance team. This role is responsible for delivering accurate and timely accounts payable services, ensuring all payments comply with internal policies and procedures, and maintaining minimal payment arrears.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision, including in a remote work environment, while maintaining effective communication with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. This is a full-time, 3-month fixed-term role designed to provide coverage during staff leave. While extension is not guaranteed, there may be opportunities for future career development in other areas of the organisation.

Essential Requirements

Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance administration role

Qualifications in accounting or bookkeeping (any level) are desirable but not essential

Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Proven track record of working independently and completing tasks remotely with minimal supervision

Current Driver’s License – desirable but not essential

Current Criminal History Check

Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check
