About the Role

We have a new opportunity for a dedicated Health Safety Environment and Quality (HSEQ) Coordinator to join our team on a project based out of Yatala, Queensland. This will be site based, working a 10/4 roster with our project team on site.

You’ll be employed on a project based contract, and working on site for this project, where you have the opportunity to make this role your own and support an exciting project.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and monitor compliance with FCS Integrated Management System in compliance with ISO45001, ISO9001, and ISO14001.

Ensuring compliance with current legislations and standards.

Complete safety inspections and audits in compliance with legislations and FCS policies and procedures.

Reporting nonconformance and implementing improvements.

Provide support for the HSEQ process, including incident investigation and reporting functions.

Provide advice and guidance to the Project Management team on WHS legislation and company direction.

Facilitate and maintain Project Management Plans – SWMS, JSA, plans, inspections, reporting, KPI’s relating to projects risks.

Assist with weekly and monthly project reporting requirements.

Manage all compliance registers and inspections.

Deliver meetings and training sessions

Participate construction methodologies, lift studies, quality control, risk identification and mitigation workshops.

Driving health and wellbeing initiatives.

Ability to understand and follow verbally or written instructions.

Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Excellent communication with clients, contractors and fellow. Employees.

Proficient in spelling, punctuation, grammar and other English language skills.

Proven high quality experience producing correspondence and documents.

Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with other employees, managers and Client Stakeholders.

Ability to evaluate and implement appropriate work methods.

Assess situations and problem solve to find best outcomes for all parties.

Ability to observe proper safety precautions.

Strong focus on safety and meeting safety expectations

Ability to complete tasks efficiently to high quality standards.

Results driven. Demonstrated experience in achieving results and objectives.

Ability to use reason and judgment to problem solve.

Think outside the box for solutions.

Punctual.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Certificate IV in WHS or relevant tertiary qualification in Health and Safety

Certificate IV in Trainer & Assessor

Be able to complete and pass a pre-employment medical including D&A.
