A family-owned business that prides itself on having the best people, we are looking for Motivated people to help us deliver equipment to 100’s of events and exhibitions during the year, Aust Open Tennis, F1 GP, Spring Carnival just to name a few.
As we continue to grow, we’re seeking experienced Furniture Team Leaders.
About the Role
This role offers the chance to step into a leadership position within our busy Transport department working across Major Events & Exhibitions, key responsibilities include:
Leading a team of installers on various Event and Exhibition sites.
Manage daily schedules and ensuring timely delivery, installation of furniture and associated hire equipment.
Liaising with clients and internal departments to ensure exceptional service.
Overseeing on-site setups, pack-downs, and quality control.
Ensuring safety and adherence to Company OH&S policies at all times.
Travel and interstate work is a requirement of this role.
Harry the Hirer is a 24/7 business; therefore nights and weekend work may be required.

About You
You’re a natural leader with excellent communication skills and a hands-on approach. Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience in a similar role in events, furniture installations, or related industries.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team.
Good physical fitness and stamina, as manual handling is required.
A current White Card.
A Forklift Licence (preferred, not essential).
Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility with working hours.
