We are looking for a person to start immediately as a Team Leader in our Outdoor Blinds production department. The position is in our day shift (7:00am-3:06pm) for Monday to Friday with Saturday overtime regularly available through the busy seasons.

The position of Team Leader is to provide effective team leadership to the Outdoor production team, ensuring production targets, safety, SOP, and quality requirements and standards are followed, met and maintained.

A successful applicant will:

Have experience with outdoor blinds in a manufacturing, installation, retailing, or other related setting

Have a great attitude and hard work ethic

Be willing to learn new skills

Be physically fit and able to lift, push and pull at least 20 kilograms

Be able to work in a fast-paced team environment

Have a high level of attention to detail

Be able to follow direction

Have good manual handling skills

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Preparation of raw materials

Assembly of product

Manual handling

Responsible use and respect of tools and machinery

Resolving any production issues

Keeping work area clean and maintaining safe working conditions

Measuring team productivity

Liaising with other team leaders to ensure effectiveness on product and manufacturing changes

Training will be provided on the job. You will be provided with ongoing training and support to ensure you have the skills and ability to complete your work.

Requirements for the role:

Outdoor blinds / products experience

Must be fluent in spoken and written English

Great attitude and hard work ethic

Team player

Physical ability to move and lift assembled product

Can work safely around machinery in a manufacturing environment
