A unique opportunity to join Construct Property Group as the Construction Manager.

Construct Property Group is one of Far North Queensland’s largest residential builders, backed by Master Builders and HIA. We comprise of Value Homes and Affinity Designer Homes specialising in residential homes, duplexes and units. We pride ourselves on quality of work and providing a top tier customer experience. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a suitably qualified Construction Manager to lead our Construction Team.

As the Construction Manager you be responsible for:

Plan Checks to ensure compliance with NCC

Engaging with the Consulting Structural Engineer

Final plan checks before construction commencement

Problem solving with certifiers and subcontractors

Engaging all external agencies as needed in relation to construction compliance

Handling subcontractor engagement

Managing your team of Supervisors/Tradesmen

Ensuring projects are completed to contractual requirements including timelines and accuracy

Oversight of financial performance on each project

In addition to the above, there will be ad hoc tasks outside of this on a day to day basis.

Requirements for the role:

Minimum Certificate IV in Construction or equivalent

Robust experience in Construction Management

Low Rise Builder’s License (preferred but not essential)

Valid Drivers Licence

Australian citizen or permanent residency
