You will identify markets, pursue opportunities, and negotiate high-value deals while working closely with internal teams to ensure projects deliver on both client expectations and commercial targets. With scope to specialise in sectors such as government housing, tourism, retirement living, or mining camps, this is a chance to create impact and help position the business as a true tier-two contractor.

- Salary extends to $140,000 - $170,000 + Super + Bonus Scheme.
What You’ll Do
- Secure new business across government, commercial, residential
- Build lasting relationships with developers, government, operators
- Prepare proposals, negotiate, and close high-value contracts
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences
- Work with internal teams to align delivery with client needs
- Contribute to strategic growth and market expansion plans
- Report to the Managing Director on pipeline and performance
Who You Are
- Commercially minded with proven business development success
- Confident negotiator able to close complex, high-value deals
- Relationship-driven and trusted by diverse stakeholders
- Proactive, resilient, and motivated by growth opportunities
- Experience in construction, property, or modular building valued
Skills Required
- Proven success in business development or sales in construction
- Track record turning opportunities into long-term clients
- Skilled in proposals, contract negotiation, and complex deal closure
- Modular or government project experience valued but not essential
- Strong financial awareness and commercial acumen
- Proficient with CRM systems, reporting tools, and MS Office
