The Retail Salesperson is responsible for managing and growing retail sales of Auto Spec 4x4 products. This role requires engaging customers, providing product recommendations, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience from inquiry to post-sale follow-up. A core part of the role includes timely and accurate management of sales leads within defined KPI timeframes, ensuring a clean sales pipeline. The ideal candidate will take accountability for sales targets, lead management, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
Retail Sales & Customer Engagement
· Drive retail sales of Auto Spec 4x4 products by providing exceptional service and product expertise.
· Engage with customers via phone, email, or online inquiries to understand their needs and offer tailored product recommendations.
· Achieve and exceed retail sales targets, consistently driving growth in revenue.
Lead Management & Sales Pipeline Accountability
· Ensure all leads are managed within set KPI timeframes, including timely follow-up, quoting, and conversion to sales.
· Maintain a clean, organised sales pipeline in Gorgias and Shopify, ensuring no leads are neglected or delayed.
· Regularly update the sales pipeline, moving leads through the funnel efficiently to maximise conversions.
Product Knowledge & Recommendations
· Provide detailed, accurate product knowledge to ensure customers make informed decisions.
· Offer expert advice on product selection, installation, and usage to meet customer needs.
Self-Learning:
· Take personal responsibility for staying up to date with the Auto Spec 4x4 product range and industry best practices.
· Proactively seek out resources, attend training sessions, and engage with suppliers to enhance product knowledge.
· Regularly update personal knowledge on product changes and new releases to provide expert advice to customers.
Sales Execution & Order Processing
· Input and track all customer interactions, quotes, and orders accurately within Gorgias and Shopify.
· Ensure timely processing of customer orders, coordinating with logistics for smooth delivery or installation.
· Follow up on all sales inquiries promptly, providing customers with product information, quotes, and shipping or installation details.
Post-Sale Support & Customer Satisfaction
· Provide follow-up after delivery or installation to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Address any issues related to product delivery or installation with the client, working to resolve them efficiently.
· Actively seek customer feedback and reviews, ensuring continuous improvement in the customer experience.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Lead Response Time: All leads are contacted and managed within the designated timeframes to ensure optimal sales conversion.
Sales Pipeline Health: A clean, updated sales pipeline with accurate tracking of all leads and timely movement through the funnel.
Achievement of Sales Targets: Meeting or exceeding set retail sales goals.
Customer Satisfaction: High customer satisfaction scores, reviews, and Net Promoter Scores (NPS).
Order Accuracy & Timeliness: Ensuring all orders are processed correctly and delivered or installed on time.
Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with product offerings and maintain a strong grasp of industry best practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Sales Skills: Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in the 4x4 or automotive industry.
Lead Management: Strong ability to manage sales leads within set KPI timeframes to ensure pipeline health and drive conversions.
Customer Service: Excellent customer engagement skills, with a focus on delivering a positive buying experience.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately input and manage sales orders and customer details.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with 4x4 products and their installation (preferred but not required).
