In this mid-level role, you'll be instrumental in introducing our cutting-edge acoustic panel solutions to key industry professionals. You'll leverage your existing understanding of the project lifecycle and the importance of acoustics in modern design to identify new opportunities, build initial relationships, and lay the groundwork for our acoustic panels to be specified in a wide range of projects, from vibrant commercial spaces to serene residential environments across New South Wales.

Connecting with Creatives & Specifiers: Proactively reach out to architects, interior designers, builders, and joiners to introduce Echocraft's innovative acoustic panel range. Your industry knowledge will help you quickly build rapport and tailor your conversations to address their specific project needs and design aspirations. This will involve calls, emails, and attending industry events around Somersby and wider NSW.

Building the Specification Pipeline: Identify new potential clients and upcoming projects where Echocraft's acoustic panels would be a perfect fit, helping to expand our network and influence within the design and construction community.

Building & Nurturing Relationships: Develop and maintain strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within the architectural, interior design, and construction communities. Your goal is to become a trusted resource for their acoustic and design needs.

Product Presentations & Education: Conduct engaging presentations and product demonstrations (both in-person and virtually) to showcase our solutions, address technical inquiries, and ensure a deep understanding of our offerings.

Collaboration: Work closely with our internal sales, marketing, and technical support teams to ensure a seamless experience for our clients and specifiers.

What You'll Bring

Minimum 2-3 Years Experience: You have 2-3+ years of proven experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role within the building materials, architecture, interior design, construction, or related A&D (Architecture & Design) sectors. Crucially, you possess an understanding or keen interest in acoustic solutions, interior fit-outs, or commercial/residential design.

Educational Background: A diploma or degree in a relevant field such as Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Business, or Marketing is highly regarded, though demonstrated industry experience will also be considered.

Some Sales/BD Experience: You've got some experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing role, where you've demonstrated an ability to initiate contact, build rapport, and articulate product value.

A Can-Do Attitude: You're proactive, eager to learn, and not afraid to pick up the phone or send that first email to industry professionals.

Great Communication: You're a clear and confident communicator, both in writing and verbally, capable of engaging with professionals at various levels and discussing technical details related to acoustics and design.

Passion for Design & Acoustics: You have a genuine interest in how spaces sound and look, and you're keen to become an expert on Echocraft's acoustic panel offerings and their application.

Team Player: You enjoy collaborating with others and contributing to a shared goal within a dynamic team.

Organized: You can manage your time effectively and keep meticulous track of your outreach efforts and client interactions.
