We are a long established cafe/wine bar, having recently experienced exponential growth. We are looking for a hands on professional to manage all facets of front of house operations including the bar.
Minimum 3 years experience managing a licensed venue with demonstrated success in staff supervision. Position would suit previous small business manager as this position requires hands on management style.
We have a fantastic executive chef who runs a successful kitchen operation and is also hands on.
As operations manager, the role will include
managing staff, hiring, training, rosters etc
Must hold current RSA certification and valid NSW Liquor License
Customer liason including functions and bookings
Social media
Proficient in hospitality POS systems, rostering software, and social media marketing platforms (Instagram, Facebook)
Overseeing the evenings, your role will be to develop an excellent customer experience
Must be available to work evening shifts (4pm-close) and weekends on a rotating schedule
Liasing with the bar manager
Experience in budget management, cost control, and revenue optimisation
We are a friendly, hands on team and are excited to be working with someone who can lift the venue to the next level.
Must have unrestricted work rights in Australia and be willing to undergo police background check
