We’re seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager for a temporary 6 week assignment located north of the CBD. This position offers an immediate start, with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right person.
About the Role:
In this standalone HR role, you’ll take full ownership of the HR function, supporting leaders and staff while playing a key role in an exciting HRIS implementation currently underway. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy and thrives in a hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the HR function – recruitment, onboarding, performance management, ER/IR, compliance and projects
Provide practical and strategic HR advice to managers and staff
Lead or support internal initiatives and workforce planning activities
Oversee and contribute to the implementation of a new HRIS system
Ensure HR policies and practices are up to date and compliant with legislation
About You:
Demonstrated experience in a HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor role
Strong working knowledge of Australian employment legislation and HR best practices
Previous involvement in HRIS implementations highly desirable (Workday)
Confident, proactive, and adaptable – able to work independently
Strong communication and relationship-building skills across all levels
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline
Ability to thrive in an environment with a high level of ambiguity and adaptability
