Your new role:
Take the lead in managing patient flow, critical incidents, and after-hours operations across Bayside Health Service. In this senior nursing role, you will:
- Provide advanced clinical leadership and coordination across multiple hospital campuses, including Redland Hospital and satellite facilities.
- Oversee after-hours operations, patient flow, staffing, and incident response, including acting as Chief Fire Warden.
- Collaborate closely with executive and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal resource use, patient safety, and seamless care delivery.
- Drive quality, education, workforce development and continuous improvement across the nursing cohort.
About you:
You are a strategic, solutions-focused nurse leader who thrives in dynamic clinical environments. You bring:
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and advanced knowledge of patient flow, clinical governance, and operational management.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage resources, and influence positive culture across complex healthcare systems.
- Experience in managing staffing, HR, incident response and bed management, especially after-hours or in acute settings.
- Strong communication, negotiation and leadership skills with a passion for delivering safe, person-centred care.
