Our client is an independent regulator that manages water use compliance in NSW. They run a broad number of campaigns - encompassing both education to their customers as well as enforcement of laws

They run many campaigns where they engage directly with water users to help them better understand and comply with water rules

Role description:

The primary objectives of the Business Process Analyst:

• Review and improve existing business processes and associated documentation
• Production and delivery of an end-to-end business process for the design and implementation of operational campaigns
• Ensure that the process designs have well documented workflows
• Ensure that all documented processes will align with ISO 9001 standards and broader organisational policies
• Develop practical, user-friendly process documentation and templates.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

• Minimum of three years proven experience in business process analysis, improvement and documentation.
• Strong understanding of process mapping methodologies and documentation techniques.
• Ability to run workshops
• Demonstrated ability to develop clear, concise and user-friendly process documentation
• Experience in working with compliance and quality assurance
• Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proficiency in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office suite, Visio or similar process mapping tools)

Desirable:

• Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems
• Experience in documenting campaign design and implementation processes.
• Knowledge of program logic and outcomes based evaluation.
• Experience working within a large organisation.
• Familiarity with the NSW government; particularly state government regulators
