An exciting opportunity is available to join our warm and welcoming team at Village Practice as a Medical Receptionist. We currently have part-time and casual positions available.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Welcoming and assisting patients as they arrive

Booking appointments and managing incoming phone calls

Responding to general patient enquiries

Triaging urgent or walk-in patients (training provided)

Processing payments and daily reconciliation

Managing emails, scanning, and filing of patient results and reports

You’ll report directly to the Practice Manager and be part of a collaborative, respectful, and patient-focused team.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

Excellent customer service and communication skills

A positive attitude and strong work ethic

The ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure

Experience in a similar medical reception or admin role (preferred, but not essential)

Experience working in a GP clinic or using Best Practice Software is highly valued, though not essential – training can be provided for the right candidate.
