About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and compassionate Accommodation Manager, to oversee our various supported accommodation services including Supported Independent Living Options (SIL), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and Independent Living Options (ILO). In this key role, you will be ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, exceptional care delivery and ongoing growth of WCSS services.

Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Lead and manage accommodation operations to ensure compliance with NDIS framework

Oversee the daily management of service delivery of high-quality, client-focused support in line with NDIS Practice Standards and participant care plans

Provide leadership and support to a team of support workers and house supervisors

Manage rosters, staffing, and service delivery to meet client needs

Assist in the coordination and implementation of NDIS support plans, working with internal teams and external service providers to ensure the participant receives the appropriate services. Support clients in accessing and navigating the NDIS system, including funding, service providers, and any additional supports

Engage with participants, families, guardians, and stakeholders to ensure high satisfaction

Ensuring incidents are appropriately managed and reported within required timeframes

Drive and contribute to business development efforts by marketing and promoting housing vacancies, facilitating participant matches, and enhancing support accommodation services offerings to fulfill growth targets.

Lead and support key projects to enhance service delivery and expand supported accommodation services

The ideal candidate will have experience and skills as follows:

Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience in the disability or community services field

Experienced with Mental Health, Disability, or Community Services sector or similar

A solid understanding of NDIS frameworks and legislation, various supported accommodation service models, and person-centred approach

Strong critical thinking skills in complex, participant-focused situations; capable of managing multiple priorities s and making sound decisions.

Understanding of mental health conditions and their impact on accommodation needs; skilled at supporting clients with psychosocial disabilities.

Ability to oversee multiple accommodation sites or programs, including budget management, resource allocation, and performance tracking.

Knowledge of person-centred care practices that promote choice, independence, and respectful support.

Strong conflict management skills to handle complaints and incidents while ensuring compliance with NDIS quality and safeguarding standards.

Proven solutions-based management skills, high-level communication, and negotiation abilities.

and MUST have:

Excellent knowledge of Disability Services, NDIS standards, Supported Accommodation operations, and compliance requirements.

Reliable car, current driver's license, willingness to drive

Hold or willing to attain NDIS Screening Check, Working with Children Check (Employment), Current Police Check, Current First Aid/CPR, NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate

Full working rights in Australia

Ability to use CRM programs

Solid computer skills and Microsoft Office suites
