Full-Time position (would consider part-time (0.8 FTE) - 12 month Contract
About the opportunity
The Legal Profession Conduct Commissioner is currently seeking an experienced Administration Officer – Receptionist to provide a high level of reception and administrative assistance to its legal professionals.
About the Business
The Legal Profession Conduct Commissioner is tasked with regulating the conduct of legal practitioners admitted and enrolled in South Australia as well as interstate and registered foreign legal practitioners practising in South Australia. The Commissioner investigates allegations of misconduct arising from Complaints received and conducts own initiative investigation where no complaint has been received but the Commissioner otherwise has sufficient information to suspect that misconduct has occurred.

Personal abilities/skills:
· Excellent telephone and reception skills.
· Audio typing, word processing and preparation of documents with efficiency and accuracy.
· Communicate effectively with other staff, members of the public and the legal profession both verbally and in writing.
· Ability to work independently and as a constructive and contributing member of a team.
· Excellent organisation and time management skills and the ability to prioritise well under pressure.
· Adhere to instructions, procedures and guidelines.
· Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Experience:
· Experience with legal documentation, terminology and procedures and experience in a legal environment is preferable.
· Experience in computer software packages including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel.
· Knowledge of the responsibilities in relation to records management and archiving.
· Knowledge of Content Manager (Trim) and Resolve Case Management System would be an advantage.
