About the role
Join the customer service team at RAM Equipment, a leading earth-moving equipment hire and sales company. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the friendly face and voice of our company, responsible for providing exceptional support to our valued clients. This full-time position is based in our Richmond, SA office, where you will play a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships and contributing to the overall success of the business.
What you'll be doing
Handle a high volume of inbound calls, emails and client inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
Respond to customer requests and queries in a timely and accurate manner
Process orders, returns and other customer transactions accurately
Process hire bookings and coordinate logistics with internal teams
Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
Maintain accurate records and documentation of all customer interactions
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our customer service processes and procedures
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service or client-facing role, ideally in the construction or industrial equipment industry
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide excellent customer service
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to handle a diverse range of customer inquiries
Proficient in using customer relationship management (CRM) systems and other office productivity software
A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively
Good time management and organisational skills to manage a high volume of tasks and deadlines
