JP Light & Sound is one of Adelaide’s most trusted event production companies, providing premium lighting, audio, staging, DJs, and AV hire throughout South Australia. We're on the lookout for a confident, motivated Event Sales & Customer Experience Coordinator to join our core team - someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves helping people, and genuinely believes in the value of what we offer.

This role goes beyond basic customer service, it’s about becoming a trusted partner to our clients and venues. You’ll be the go-to person helping people plan and deliver events they’re genuinely excited about. From the first enquiry through to event day, you’ll guide them through the process, offering tailored advice, practical solutions, and a friendly face they can rely on. Your goal? To make the experience smooth, professional, and genuinely enjoyable, so clients walk away feeling supported and proud of what we’ve created together.

What You’ll Be Doing

Customer Service
– Respond to client enquiries via phone, email, and in person
– Prepare quotes, issue invoices, and confirm bookings
– Greet clients and manage the front-of-house experience at our Norwood HQ
– Coordinate equipment hire pickups and returns
– Help clients find the right setup for their event and recommend value-adding extras (full product training provided)
– Finalise booking details and ensure accuracy before entering into internal systems and confirming with the client

Sales & Venue Partnerships
– Build and maintain strong relationships with venues, wineries, and event spaces
– Develop venue-specific packages and co-branded materials (e.g. Lighting, Audio Visual & DJ Event Packages)
– Maintain seasonal updates to keep venues engaged and generate consistent inbound leads
– Represent JP Light & Sound with confidence and passion, selling tailored solutions, not just services

About You

– Personable, confident, and great with people
– Detail-oriented and able to juggle tasks in a fast-paced environment
– Strong communicator who builds trust with clients and venue contacts
– Passionate about events and delivering a quality experience
– Comfortable using cloud-based tools like Google Workspace, Xero, AppSheet, and Current RMS
– Bonus points for experience in events, AV, lighting, hospitality, or sales - but not essential
