SAPLSL-CI are seeking a dynamic and passionate person to join their growing team. As a Customer Service Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for workers and employers, providing clear friendly guidance on their portable long service leave entitlements and obligations. You’ll respond to enquiries via phone, email, and in person, ensuring every interaction is professional, informative and helpful.

The role includes a wide range of functions including:

Answering customer enquiries and providing accurate information about portable long service leave

Processing worker long service leave claims

Processing employer return forms

Processing employer registrations

Management of correspondence through maintaining records and ensuring compliance with policies

Working collaboratively with the team to improve customer service processes

About You:

You are friendly, helpful and professional, and are passionate about delivering great customer service.

Experience in customer service and administration roles

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to engage with a diverse range of people

Demonstrated ability to work under general direction, prioritise work under pressure and organise time effectively.

Strong computer and numeracy skills with the ability to pick up new systems quickly

Skills and experience in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel and Word

Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance
