Coastal Cardiology is a busy Specialist Medical Practice with 7 Cardiologists supported by a team of 25 clinical and admin staff.

About the role

Our admin team ensure our valued patients receive the very best care and service. Your busy day may include:

Working on the reception desk to greet patients, making appointments and managing their billing.

ECG’s prior to patient appointments

Fitting heart monitors

Booking hospital procedures, chase medical documents.

Answering phone enquiries and assisting patients

Confirming future appointments

Proven problem solving, multi-tasking and time management skills

Experience with medical software

A quick learner who is comfortable asking questions

Provide a police check or have requested one

Skills & Experience Needed

Experienced medical secretary/receptionist with an understanding of Medicare systems

Excellent communication skills to navigate a large team & assist patients

Availability for minimum 3 days a week for varied hours between 8am and 6pm. Flexibility is highly regarded

Be comfortable to learn & perform basic ECG, BP and Holter Monitor tests
