We are a rheumatology specialist practice in Charlestown currently operating 4 days a week, and we are looking for a permanent part-time receptionist to work on Wednesdays.

Our practice operates in a paperless office and uses Genie medical software for clinical management and billing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at maintaining the smooth and efficient functioning of the office.

Duties:

Front desk reception and greeting of patients

Answering phone calls and taking messages

Confirming appointments and receiving payments

Generating invoices

Monitoring office supplies

Ensuring the office remains organised and efficient

Requirements:

Strong relational and people skills

High degree of professionalism and well-presented

Excellent communication skills with patients and colleagues

Ability to work independently with initiative and responsibility

Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills

Some IT/computer knowledge

Prior experience (or training) as a medical receptionist preferred

Experience with Genie software is a plus
