Join a leading glass manufacturing company in Rowville as a Maintenance Fitter on the afternoon shift. This is an excellent opportunity to secure an ongoing casual role with temp-to-perm potential, great hourly pay, and long-term career prospects.

About the Role

We're looking for a trade-qualified Maintenance Fitter to work across mechanical maintenance, breakdowns, and preventative servicing in a fast-paced production environment. The role will begin with 4-6 weeks of paid training on day shift, before transitioning to a permanent afternoon shift.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical maintenance and breakdown repairs on production machinery

Preventative maintenance to minimise downtime

Fault-finding and troubleshooting on various equipment

Work collaboratively with production and maintenance teams

Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

About You

Qualified Mechanical Fitter (Cert III or equivalent) preffered

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (glass or similar preferred)

Strong fault-finding and mechanical troubleshooting skills

Safety-focused and able to work both independently and in a team

Comfortable committing to afternoon shifts long-term
