• Full time, permanent position

• $57p/h + loading + OT Rates (Time.5 first 2 hours, then double time)

We're looking to hire a permanent Maintenance Electrician on behalf of our client, a successful packaging manufacturer. Due to the nature of the role, a background in food/beverage/packaging/FMCG manufacturing maintenance is essential. The company produces a range of products and have high standards in the quality to meet their clients needs.

The role

As a skilled Maintenance Electrician the role will have you undertake a variety of tasks ranging from project work & insulations through to general and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and problem solving.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the day to day efficient running of Plant Equipment.
• Maintenance of plant and equipment inc; Preventative maintenance.
• Diagnostics and fault finding.
• Process improvement of plant and equipment.
• Operate & Service Machinery.
• Provide technical support to the production team.
• Promote and adhere to Quality, OHS, GMP and HACCP guidelines.

Experience:

Trade Qualified with a minimum of 4 years maintenance experience in a similar role in Manufacturing environments.

• Valid A grade electrical licence
• Experience using CMMS systems.
• Hands on with an enthusiastic attitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Work autonomously and be a self-starter to be a part of an engaged team.
• Forklift licence is an advantage.
