Business Development Manager – Earthmoving Equipment
Location: Brisbane and Surrounds

Zoomlion Australia-New Zealand Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. Reporting to the Regional Manager (Regional Director) and with a dotted line to the General Manager, this role will be critical in driving strategic sales initiatives and expanding Zoomlion’s market share in the earthmoving and construction equipment sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, pursue, and convert business opportunities across construction, earthmoving, mining, and infrastructure sectors

Monitor market trends and provide insights to guide product and service strategies

Actively pursue direct sales leads and maintain a robust sales pipeline

Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, while cultivating new client partnerships

Prepare and present compelling sales proposals, quotations, and tender submissions

Collaborate with key managers to design and execute strategies to win major projects and expressions of interest

Work closely with the service team to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction

Achieve and exceed defined sales targets and KPIs

Leverage marketing initiatives to secure new business and strengthen brand presence

Contribute to the development and execution of sales and business growth strategies

Skills and Experience Required:

Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within the construction, earthmoving, mining, or heavy machinery sectors

Strong technical acumen and understanding of machinery and equipment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder engagement abilities

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously

Willingness to travel as required across Australia

Knowledge of equipment such as earthmoving, cranes, concrete, agricultural, and infrastructure machinery is highly desirable
