Communities for Children Coordinator

Child Care Services Taree & Districts Inc. have a position vacant for Communities for Children Coordinator to work within a team delivering early literacy program, Reading Builds Awesome Brains, through Playgroups in the Mid Coast Council area and facilitating Parenting Programs.

CCSTD is a community based not for profit service based in Taree.

Essential

· Must be 18 years or over

· Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care (minimum Certificate 111) or

· Community Welfare or experience in similar position

· Work within a team to deliver child and family focused activities

· Able to plan, develop, deliver and evaluate a flexible, stimulating program for children 0 to 6years and their parents

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Willingness to collaborate with other agencies to facilitate effective service delivery of programs

· Availability to attend professional development training

· Availability to travel

Desirable

· Previous Experience working with families

· Experience in planning and programming for children 0 to 6

· Experience with data and reporting software

· Group facilitation skills

Successful applicant will be required to hold or obtain:

· Current Working with Children Check

· First Aid Certificate

· National Criminal History Check

· Current Drivers Licence
