The Role

As our Assistant Coordinator, you will be the right-hand support to the Coordinator and a key leader within the service. You will help plan exciting programs, build strong relationships with families, support your team, and step up to lead when needed. Every day brings something new—from creative arts to sports, science experiments to chill-out chats—your days will be anything but boring!

What You will Be Doing

Designing, delivering and evaluating fun and educational programs that follow the My Time, Our Place framework

Leading play-based learning experiences, both spontaneous and planned

Acting as Responsible Person when the Coordinator is away

Supporting your team and helping new educators feel welcome and confident

Engaging families in their children’s experiences and development

Ensuring compliance with all NQF, regulatory, and safety requirements

Using digital tools (like Hubworks, Educate, Google Suite) to streamline and support your work

Supervising and actively participating in play—indoors, outdoors, and on excursions

What You will Bring

A passion for children, education, and community

Experience working with children (in OSHC, childcare, schools, sports, or youth programs)

Currently studying or qualified in Early Childhood, OSHC, Education, or a related field

HLTAID004 (First Aid in Education Setting) & CHCPRT001 (Child Protection) or willingness to obtain

Confidence using digital platforms for programming and communication

Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills

Creativity, flexibility, and a can-do attitude!
