ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join the Custom Fleet crew to play a key role in assisting month-end closing and reporting of Custom Fleet’s cash accounts and ownership of the daily banking process. The role involves interaction with different teams and stakeholders and processing daily payments requests.
Duties will include (but not limited to) …
Essential duties:
Prepare and send out supplier and customer invoice and managing the mailbox for communication.
Complete all month end processes including manual journals and account reconciliations to high quality within agreed timelines.
Raising purchase order accurately within the agreed timelines.
Ensure financial transactions are performed in compliance with company policies.
Address and resolve queries in timely and accurate manner.
Drive efficiencies across accounting and reporting processes.
Other duties:
Analysing financial data and providing insights to improve reporting and decision-making.
Assist with the preparation of financial statements
ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience:
Essential experience:
Ensures work is completed accurately and efficiently, with significant attention to detail.
Proficiency in various MS Office software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
High energy and passion for quality work and continuous improvement
Strong interpersonal skills – ability to communicate clearly with all levels of management across the business.
Committed and self-motivated, with proven ability to execute and drive own agenda.
Team player
Other experience:
Assisting with audits, providing necessary documentation, and responding to audit queries.
