As a Graduate Accountant, you’ll work directly with the Finance Manager and gain experience across a diverse range of accounting functions within a dynamic and purpose-driven environment!

About the Role:

We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Finance Manager to support the day-to-day accounting operations and play a key part in maintaining the financial integrity of the business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Finance Manager with day-to-day financial operations and administrative tasks.

Managing monthly reconciliation of company credit card transactions, ensuring all expenses are accurately coded and properly documented.

Conducting daily bank reconciliations and allocating incoming payment receipts.

Assisting in month-end processes, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.

Helping maintain accurate financial records across accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger entries.

Processing customer refunds in line with company policies, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution.

Ensuring all financial systems and records are up to date and compliant with relevant standards and procedures.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field

Strong communication skills and openness to feedback

Proficiency in Xero, Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains), and Microsoft Business Analytics

Highly developed computer skills including G Suite and Microsoft Office Programs

A current employee working with children clearance

Desirable:

Previous experience in an educational institution/business

Hours and Remuneration:

This position offers a competitive salary package ranging from $55,000 - $70,000 per annum (inclusive of superannuation), aligned with experience and qualifications. You will be working on a full time basis from Monday to Friday during business operating hours.

Location:

This is a hybrid role, with the flexibility to work both remotely and from our Chatswood hub, conveniently located just a one-minute walk from Chatswood Station.
