Leading Perth CBD venue in search of skillful and outgoing Duty Manager to join our team as we prepare for busy period ahead.
Duty Manager (up to 20-35hrs per week )
As the Manager on Duty, you will work closely with an established & close knitted management team with plenty of support and assistance. Your working week will consist of opening, manage shifts, assist in function and events, support in administrative tasks as required and closing of the venue.
Previous experience and skills
You must have a minimum 12 months of previous management experience of successfully leading a front of the house team in a busy bar/ restaurant or similar environment.
(Those who have minimum 2 years of supervisory experience, looking for duty manager position will be considered)
You have a naturally friendly personality to compliment your professionalism and the capacity to effectively organize your time and energy levels.
You must be able to demonstrate a high level of technical skills and product knowledge and be able to work effectively without supervision.
You must hold a current Unrestricted Approved Managers Red Card.
Ability to follow direction and meet internal standards set by the venue.
For both roles:
Ability to work under pressure and experience working in fast paced environments
Focused on exceptional customer service and maintaining the high set service standards set by internally.
Experience with P.O.S. and Microsoft Office packages
Takes pride in his/her appearance and will maintain a high standard of grooming
Our ideal candidates will have a hands-on approach, be self-driven and most importantly a team player.
Experience running functions and working closely to ensure customer satisfaction in this area is preferred ss the venue hosts regular functions.
Due to the nature of the business, it is essential the potential candidates are flexible with working hours. Our core business is providing the best customer service to our clients and this role is essential in setting the scene for exceptional customer service.
Our venue operates 7 days per week, from 11am until late.
The successful candidates will be required to work morning, afternoon and evening shifts, including on weekends depending on scheduled structured rosters, functions and events.
