About Us
Physioactive is a large multidisciplinary Allied Health Clinic within the medical precinct of Ipswich. Our practice has been providing health services to the community since 1988. Our providers include Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Hand Therapists, Podiatrists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitian, Psychologist and Sports & Exercise Medicine Registrar.
We’ve recently moved into a spacious, state-of-the-art clinic, bringing together all our allied health professionals under one roof. The Role
We are looking for a proactive and welcoming Receptionist to join our Ipswich clinic on a full-time basis, with the view of this individual being a long-term team member. Applicants seeking to join our team as a Receptionist on a part-time basis will also be considered!
You’ll be the first point of contact for our patients, making an impactful first impression while managing day-to-day operations to ensure a smooth experience for both patients and staff. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of our growing team in a vibrant, cutting-edge facility.
Your key responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and handle inquiries in a friendly, professional manner
Manage appointment bookings, cancellations, and patient records with attention to detail
Provide support for administrative tasks, such as handling payments, handling phone and email enquiries, and managing patient records.
Collaborate closely with the clinical team to ensure efficient scheduling and patient flow
Maintain a clean and organised reception area, reflecting the high standards of our clinic
What We’re Looking For
Willing to work a flexible roster, including an open and close each week
A willingness to start at an entry level to learn the foundations of the clinic
Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and customer service
Longevity and commitment to position and clinic
Strong organisational skills with a proactive approach to tasks
Ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment with a positive and solution-focused attitude
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with medical booking systems
A team player who can easily adapt to a dynamic clinic environment
