You will coordinate and lead a small closely knit team hence your ability to juggle priorities of this unique role will mean that you will be someone who is highly driven, flexible, hands on whilst able to provide management guidance and direction. Please note that the role is based in Horsham, regional West Victoria with some travel being part of the role.
Responsibilities
We are looking for an accountable, resilient Technical Sales Representative to be responsible for leading Retail/Sales Admin Department. You will be responsible for achieving department outcomes.
· Building and executing market and action plans / increasing customer network
· Creating and delivering product trials – liaising with clients and their therapists
· Monitor market and technology trends to identify new product needs and potential.
· Custom scripting, fitting of mobility equipment i.e. power wheelchairs, commodes, custom lift chairs etc.
· Understanding customer needs and requirements
· Proactive follow up of sales and networking – managing client relationships including with Occupational therapists, procurement managers, funding case managers and funding participants.
· Building sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
· Monitoring the fulfilment and installation of products to ensure positive client outcomes.
This may be independently or in collaboration with our network of supplier and product experts.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
The successful applicant will have:
· Bachelors or Higher Degree in Engineering or related field or relevant experience
· Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Technical Sales
· At least 5 years relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
· Proven experience and knowledge of engineering
· Ability to foresee design changes to optimise equipment
· Strong interpersonal skills
