About the role

As a Receptionist at the Gold Creek Tourist Resort, you will play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming environment for all our guests. This full-time position is based in our Resort located in Nicholls, ACT, and will be responsible for handling a wide range of administrative and customer service duties.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and assisting guests in a friendly and professional manner

Handling guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently

Maintaining accurate records and updating reservation systems

Answering incoming phone calls

Replying to emails efficiently

Providing information about the resort's amenities and local attractions

Booking accommodation for guests and school groups

Creating and sending invoices to school groups

Assisting with other administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

Preferred but not required - previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organisational and multi-tasking abilities

Proficiency in using office equipment and various software applications

Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive, friendly demeanour

A commitment to providing exceptional customer service
