A highly respected not-for-profit organisation in the health and disability sector is seeking a skilled Service Desk Engineer to support their internal IT operations. This is a hands-on role providing Level 1-2 technical support and infrastructure maintenance, ensuring reliable digital services across a meaningful, values-driven environment.
What You'll Do:
- Deliver responsive technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across desktop, mobile, and cloud platforms
- Manage and escalate incidents in line with SLAs using ITSM systems
- Support Microsoft environments including Windows 10/11, Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, and Exchange Online
- Administer user accounts via Active Directory and Azure AD / Entra ID
- Maintain device fleets (laptops, desktops, MFDs, peripherals) from vendors such as HP, Dell, and Lenovo
- Support endpoint management using Microsoft Intune
- Assist with network services: DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs
- Contribute to backup and disaster recovery (Veeam, Datto, ShadowProtect)
- Work with security and email filtering tools (e.g. Mimecast, Webroot, Fortinet, DNS Filter)
- Liaise with third-party vendors to support line-of-business systems
- Document solutions and follow ITIL-aligned support practices
What You'll Bring:
- 3+ years' experience in a busy Service Desk or Desktop Support environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Exchange, and Azure environments
- Proven troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and cloud services
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, endpoint management, and imaging
- Familiarity with ticketing systems like ConnectWise, ServiceNow, Zendesk or Jira
- Understanding of ITIL principles and service delivery processes
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 support environment if required
