AKJ Services are a local Darwin civil construction company that have a wide range of civil projects ongoing and are currently seeking an experienced Civil Construction Pipe Layer to join their team. Its beneficial if candidates have proven experience in the Civil industry and have worked in a Darwin Subdivision environment.

Qualifications & experience

Pipe Laying Experience. Experience on;

Roads,

Subdivisions,

Laying Power and Water Sewer and Water assets

and other civil orientated sites

Any plant operator tickets Excavator, Loader, Roller (desirable)

Driver's License

Must possess a Construction OHS White Card

Availability to work Monday to Friday with potential for weekend work

Time management skills.

Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety.

Able to work as part of a team.

Be trustworthy, hardworking and take pride in your work.

Tasks & responsibilities

Stormwater Pit and pipe works.

Sewer pipe works

Assisting with trenching and backfills with correct compaction procedures

Working with and alongside machines, spotting and assisting with levels

Using hand tools, power tools and equipment (Leg rammer, vibe plate)
