We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Civil Labourer to join our construction team. The role involves assisting with general civil works, including excavation, concreting, trenching, and basic carpentry tasks. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, safety-conscious, and capable of working in a team environment under minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Civil Works:

Assist with site preparation, including clearing, digging, and trenching.

Install formwork, steel reinforcement, and assist in concrete pours.

Lay conduits and assist with underground service installations.

Backfill, compact, and level excavated areas.

Assist with setting out levels, string lines, and measuring as required.

Operate hand and power tools and small plant equipment (if trained/licensed).

Follow project plans and instructions from site supervisors.

Perform manual handling tasks and general site clean-up.

Basic Carpentry Duties:

Assist in constructing timber and steel formwork for concrete structures.

Cut, assemble, and install framework using hand and power tools.

Install and dismantle temporary support structures.

Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using measuring tools.

Assist tradesmen and carpenters with material handling and tool setup.

Skills and Qualifications:

Previous experience in civil construction and/or carpentry is highly regarded.

Understanding of site safety practices and procedures.

Ability to read basic construction drawings is a plus.

White Card (Construction Induction Card) – mandatory.

Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.

Physically fit and able to perform manual labour in varying conditions.

Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.

Working Conditions:

Outdoor work in various weather conditions

Working and travelling to regional or remote sites

· A valid Full Driver’s License is mandatory, and the candidate must be confident and experienced in towing trailers
