As demand for our Carer Gateway services grows, this role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference. As a Program Support Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of Carer Gateway programs.
Throughout your day you will manage incoming referrals and make initial contact with carers, providing a welcoming and efficient first point of support. You'll assist with program coordination, help plan group activities, manage waitlists and ensure timely allocation of services. Your responsibilities will also include organising program resources, booking community venues and liaising with stakeholders to ensure events and services run seamlessly.
Professional and proactive, you will provide high-quality administrative support that allows our frontline teams to focus on delivering exceptional care. You'll contribute to improving systems and processes, coordinate carer feedback and play a key role in strengthening collaboration across teams.
What you'll bring:
You'll have proven experience in a fast-paced administrative role, strong communication and organisational skills and confidence using systems and technology (Carelink, Salesforce, ZenDesk, Microsoft Office Suite). With a keen eye for detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities, you'll thrive in our collaborative environment.
Pre-engagement requirements:
- Administration qualification, tertiary qualification in social science or a related discipline and/or relevant equivalent experience
- High attention to detail and high level of confidentiality
- Evidence of working rights within Australia (birth cert/passport/visa)
- Driving Licence
- National Police Check (12 months old) and Working with Childrens Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate - free online course
