Program Support Officer - Procurement

• Provide high level Procurement support

A highly regarded government organisation in the North Coast Region is seeking an experienced Program Support Officer (Procurement) to provide vital support services to project managers and team members across a range of procurement functions.

This internal contract role will see you contribute to the timely and effective delivery of projects by ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and procurement legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and support end-to-end procurement processes

Engage contingent workers using the Fieldglass platform

Maintain spreadsheets, registers, and provide timely reporting and updates

Assist with tendering processes and ensure deadlines are met

Support asset management including stocktakes, disposals, and useful life reviews

Contribute to the development of local work practices to meet compliance needs

Uphold operational standards and governance obligations, including WH&S

Provide day-to-day support to the Senior Advisor (Procurement) and Procurement Officers

About You:

Strong administration and organisational skills

Previous experience in procurement support or similar roles

Proficiency in using a variety of systems and platforms (Fieldglass experience highly regarded)

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines

Excellent communication and collaboration skills
