About the role:
As part of a supportive and focused team, the Finance Officer will support the finance team in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of and reporting for accounts payable and payroll. Reporting directly to the Senior Accountant, this role will be responsible for processing supplier and Council payments, payroll, raising accounts receivable invoices, tenant bond lodgement, trial balance and credit card reconciliations and periodic reporting. The role also involves maintaining accurate records within our software systems and compliance with external system use such as Centrepay.
This Hybrid role will be based at our Lismore Head Office with the option to work from home 1 days per week.
About you:
Prior experience in an similar role
Relevant qualification – Cert IV Bookkeeping, Diploma of Accounting, or similar
Critical thinking and problem‐solving skills with a deadline-driven mindset and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal and relationship building skills
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Demonstrate personal accountability, and a proven ability to achieve outcomes
Hold a current NSW drivers’ licence
Other experience, knowledge and skills we would like you to have:
Experience in the use of Greentree, or an MYOB based accounting system
Basic knowledge and experience with MS Excel
